Decoration Ideas for all the Holidays with Celebrations

min read

The holidays are coming soon, and it's never too early to start planning your home's decorations inside and out. Chances are you've decorated your home the same way for every holiday season, so what do you do if you want to change it up? You check out Celebrations.

When you want to decorate for Halloween, Christmas, or any other fall or winter holiday, chances are you want to put up some lights. Celebrations create some of the most popular holiday lighting options that you can find on the market. From traditional multi-colored winter lights to single-color strands, you'll find everything you need to get started. But, of course, you'll also find plenty of LED-lighted decorations. The key is to learn how to use them to create the holiday decorating look you want.

Keep Your Holiday Tree Simple

Who says you need a ton of brightly colored ornaments to enjoy your holiday decorating? Let it speak for itself with strands of lights. Simple white lights provide a quiet elegance. Try strands of lights in a single color from Celebrations if you want something more robust. Of course, you can still add pops of color via strands of multi-colored lights if that's what you prefer. Multi-colored lights would provide beauty while still preventing you from needing to use a lot of ornaments, which are almost never fun to clean up after the Christmas season is over.

Holiday Trees For Halloween

You can also use your holiday tree even earlier than the winter holidays. Why not consider it for trick-or-treaters to see through your open window? Halloween lights in orange, purple, or black are an excellent way to get into the holiday spirit even earlier than usual while maintaining a theme.

Add Decor To Your Yard

Your Celebrations Christmas lights don't need to stay inside or on your home. Instead, decorate your entire property by adding Halloween-themed lawn decor to your home. Cute LED-lit witches and giant inflatable pumpkins show off your love for the holiday and give passersby something fascinating to look at.

You can even create a little DIY idea. Grab some tissues, some Tootsie Pops, and some string. Use string to put the tissue over the lollipop and tie it on. Next, use a marker to draw eyeballs and a ghostly mouth onto the lollipop, then tie them to low-hanging tree branches for a cute ghost-filled Halloween tree.

Inflatables are also great Halloween decorations to give the WOW factor. You can create the best decoration on the block by adding a witch inflatable, or a Halloween kid inflatable is a good choice if you are decorating for children.

Yard Decorations For the Winter Season

When Halloween passes, toss an inflatable turkey for Thanksgiving and transition into winter holiday decor. Large, wrapped, light-up packages are a traditional way to go, but if you prefer something a little more quirky, you can also add a flamingo wearing a Santa hat to your yard. Then, there is always the traditional and secular red- or white-lighted deer to add to your yard.

Put a Wreath on the Door

No matter what holiday it is, there's always room for a wreath on the door. When Halloween rolls around, put up a wreath with traditional Halloween symbols such as Jack-o-lanterns, witches, ghosts, or bats on it, making sure to add some Halloween lights. Then, trade it in after Halloween for a more traditional Celebrations wreath to celebrate the winter holidays. Choose from basic wreaths or those with white, red, green, or multi-colored Celebrations Christmas lights for your holiday decoration.

Hang Bells On the Door

The holiday season will be there with bells if you add some to your doors. But, of course, if you don't want to hang real bells on your door, you can always make some that look amazing but won't startle people whenever you walk in or out of the house. You'll need nine mini bundt pans, three small ornaments, some ribbon, and some Celebrations Garland

Use epoxy to affix three mini bundt pans to each other. Do this two more times to create three bells. Next, use hot glue to secure a tiny ornament to the bottom of each bell to act as the clapper. Next, tie some ribbons in a bow, hot glue them to keep them in place, and then hot glue them to the top of each bell. Finally, add a bit of garland and affix the decoration to your door.
