This screen retainer spline is constructed of springy polyethylene foam and it is black in color. Foam screen spline is an excellent substitute for vinyl spline, and it is used to hold screening materials to screen frames. This type of screening spline is flexible and easy to use. It replaces lost or broken spline and fits most screen frame channels. This retainer spline is ideal for screening aluminum mesh and fiberglass screen fabric, and measures .270 (17/64 in.) in diameter and comes in a 500 foot roll.
